Common Questions We Get Everyday.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the type of request and the information provided. Our team will review your submission and contact you if additional information is needed.

  • Our agency requires customers to visit the office to complete the policy purchase process. This allows us to verify information, collect required documentation, obtain signatures when needed, and ensure all policy details are reviewed accurately.

  • Commonly requested documents may include driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, titles, bills of sale, declarations pages, and proof of residency. Requirements may vary depending on your request/situation.

  • Down payments for new policies and payments to add vehicles or drivers must be paid in cash. We accept debit and credit cards for regular monthly payments; however, card information must be entered manually because we do not have a chip reader. A $5 card processing fee applies to all card transactions. To avoid card fees, you may make your payment directly to the insurance company. All agency fees must be paid in cash.

  • Not always. We can often begin the policy process using your current out-of-state driver's license or ID. However, most insurance companies require customers who have moved to North Carolina to obtain a North Carolina license or ID within a certain timeframe. Once updated, your policy may be rerated based on the new information provided to the insurance company.

  • Liability coverage helps pay for damages or injuries you cause to others. Full coverage generally includes liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage, offering broader protection for your vehicle.

  • A renewal is when your insurance policy continues into a new policy term. Before the renewal date, your insurance company will review your policy and may make changes to your premium, coverage, discounts, or policy terms.

Renewal payments are due by the day before the renewal date, whether payment is made directly to the insurance company or through our office. We recommend visiting our office before your renewal so we can review any changes to your policy, including premium increases or decreases, updated documents, and verification of contact information such as your address, phone number, and email address.

To help avoid delays or coverage interruptions, don't hesitate to get in touch with our office prior to your renewal date to verify your payment amount and discuss any questions you may have regarding your policy.

  • Coverage needs vary based on your vehicle, lender requirements, budget, and personal preferences. Our team can help you review your options and determine what coverage best fits your situation.

  • Claims should be reported directly to your insurance company as soon as possible. If you need assistance locating your carrier's claims information, please contact our office.

  • A deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket before your insurance helps cover a covered claim.

    • Less out-of-pocket cost if you have a claim

    • Usually results in a higher monthly premium
